Companion & Home Support
Non-medical support that helps someone stay in their own home, comfortably and with dignity — and helps the family stop worrying from a distance.
Cards, walks along Dallas Road, a shared cup of tea. Loneliness is a health issue, and this is the part families most often underestimate.
Dishes, laundry, tidying, changing bedding, keeping the kitchen safe and workable.
Simple, familiar meals prepared together where possible, plus grocery shopping to a chosen list.
A prompt at the right time and a note if something was missed. We do not dispense or administer medication — that stays with health professionals.
Rides to the doctor, Royal Jubilee, physiotherapy, or the hairdresser, with someone who stays and helps remember what was said.
Pharmacy runs, post office, banking trips, and help sorting the mail that has been piling up.
Harbour Home provides non-medical support only. We do not perform nursing tasks, wound care, or medical procedures — and we will tell you plainly when a need has moved beyond what we should be doing.
Matching
Consistency is the whole thing. A rotating cast of strangers in the house is exhausting for an older person and useless for spotting change. We match one person and we protect that match.
